The structure of the Dutch company Lamb Weston Meijer, LVM SiAES B.V., asked the Federal Antimonopoly Service to give it preliminary consent to acquire 39,38% of LLC Lam Weston Belaya Dacha. This is stated in the message of the service. It says that if the deal takes place, then its share in this company will increase to 74,5%, writes Vedomosti.
Lam Weston Belaya Dacha is a project of Lamb Weston Meijer and Belaya Dacha holding. The latter, according to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, now owns 64,5% of the shares in it. Lam Weston Belaya Dacha owns a French fries plant located in the Lipetsk Special Economic Zone. The enterprise started working in 2018, its capacity is 100 thousand tons of products per year.
In April 2020, the plant temporarily suspended operations due to a drop in order volumes. The plant was restarted in August.
