The educational project "Agroleaders of Russia" from Rosselkhozbank brought together 2330 students from more than 70 agricultural universities and colleges in the country. Now participants must send their ideas for startup projects by November 6, and jury members from among the key industry experts will select 50 of the most promising ones.
The authors of the 10 best ideas will have the opportunity to undergo an internship at the country's largest agricultural enterprises. Thus, already during the training, students will have the opportunity to find a job, while all 50 form the "gold" reserve of the agro-industrial complex.
“Agriculture is the basis of the country's well-being. The most intelligent, hardworking and dedicated specialists should manage the agro-industrial complex. Our task is to identify the most promising of them and encourage the realization of their potential,” said Elena Baturova, director of the Center for the Development of Financial Technologies of the Russian Agricultural Bank and one of the project mentors.
Until October 25, all participants have the opportunity to ask questions of interest regarding their projects to the mentors of Agroleaders of Russia in their personal account on Online, as well as in community channels in Telegram and VKontakte.
The Agroleaders of Russia project is divided into educational and practical stages. As part of the educational part, lectures and online broadcasts are held for participants who are led by project mentors from among the leaders of leading Russian agricultural enterprises. During the practical phase, mentors give advice.
Among the mentors are managers of Efko Group of Companies, R&D and IT of Steppe Agricultural Holding, Abrau-Durso Group of Companies, Kirov Tractor Plant, Cherkizovo Group, teachers, business coaches and HR consultants.
“Russia needs young and high-quality specialists. Everyone understands this: the state, business, and the students themselves. It is very important to give young people a sense of real work from an early age. The sooner they begin to interact with the agricultural sector, the better their training will be. It is important for us that the competition attracted the attention of 2330 students from more than 70 universities and colleges,” said Elena Baturova.
The students of the Kuzbass State Agricultural Academy, the Moscow Agricultural Academy, Belgorod, Saratov, Stavropol, Omsk and Ulyanovsk State Agrarian Universities were most actively involved in the project.
