Technical modernization is a key factor in the successful development of the agro-industrial complex. In 2022, farmers in Russia continued to update their fleet of agricultural machinery and specialized equipment - according to preliminary estimates, they purchased over 53 thousand units.
This was facilitated by state support measures, primarily the preferential programs of Rosagroleasing. In order to upgrade the park, the Government allocated 12 billion rubles to the company. In addition, an additional 10 billion rubles were allocated to continue increasing supplies. With the help of preferential leasing, agricultural producers purchased more than 12,5 thousand units of machines last year, which is 23% higher than in 2021.
Traditionally, most farmers buy new grain harvesting equipment. Combine harvesters account for about 50% of demand in this category. Also very popular are machines and equipment for tillage, grain and seed cleaning, mowers and pick-ups. In addition, producers lease grain dryers, reapers, equipment for harvesting and planting potatoes.
